OREGON FIRE CHIEFS ASSOCIATION |
Oregon Fire Chiefs Association sincerely thanks you for your membership and support during this past year! We anticipate another busy year and encourage you to stay engaged. Involvement in OFCA is an integral part of a Fire Chief’s or Chief Officer's professional development, and can significantly improve our effectiveness as leaders. As a member of OFCA, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of the Oregon Fire Service.
Simply choose a category below. If this is your first time registering for a membership, you will need to create an account.
The Board of Directors wants to make membership accessible to all of Oregon’s chief officers. The Board is especially interested in assisting chief officers who work in small volunteer or combination fire departments where financial limitations may have prevented them from joining the OFCA. We're glad you're here! As a member of OFCA, you will enjoy the following benefits:
OFCA provides its members with updates about issues affecting the fire service, as well as the activities of valuable committees, OR-OSHA, the legal and insurance sectors, United States Congress, the NFPA, and more. Active Members receive monthly Board Meeting invitations, minutes, and updates from the current OFCA President.
OFCA is dedicated to bringing the voice of fire and emergency services to the Oregon Legislature as a unified front. Our Legislative committee works to introduce, support, and defend legislation which improves fire, rescue, and EMS, and to empower our members to become involved in the process.
The OFCA provides a variety of professional development and educational opportunities for all levels of fire service personnel. As a member, you will have first access to information about all of our training events, and you will receive a discount on registration for our Annual Spring Conference.
There is an abundance of knowledge, experience, and skill within the membership of the OFCA. By attending conferences and other functions and interacting with chief officers from all over Oregon, you will find that the solution to a problem may only be a handshake or a conversation away.
OFCA’s membership cycle is July 1st through June 30th each year.
